We have experience in creating websites of many different types and can build to almost any scale, from a simple blog right up to a large community driven site.
This experience, combined with a deep interest in all things technical, has resulted in us building up a great knowledge of the tools and technologies available, and has honed our abilities to suggest the right tool for each job.
We're just as happy to work with clients who have specific technical requirements as we are for those who prefer to leave the technological details to us. We adapt the way we work to suit each client and each project.
Almost all projects we do involve a "content management system" (CMS) of some kind, as this empowers our clients to keep the site updated easily and without indepth technical knowledge. This lets them focus only on the content they are adding to the site rather than how to overcome the technical challenges involved.
Once we have a feel for a website, then we start the process of selecting the system we use to create it. Where possible we use an existing website system, but we are not afraid to heavily customize or even build a site from scratch if the project really calls for it.
Open source software is extensively used in the websites we build, not only do the ideals match those of ours, but in many cases the actual technology works better than the proprietary alternatives. Since we want 'flow' to operate in all areas of our business, Radiant Flow has a policy of contributing resources back to these projects.
